Our honest review
We stayed 7 nights in May 2025 with Tallulah at 4 months old - our first ever family holiday abroad. Grandad came with us for extra hands. The resort is big - multiple pools, a proper waterpark with about six slides, a pirate-themed baby pool area, a beach, and several restaurants. All-inclusive covers everything which was perfect with a young baby. No thinking required. The baby pool was the highlight. Pirate ship statue, shallow water, little slides. Tallulah was only 4 months but in her inflatable float she loved it - she even went down the tiny baby slide and thought it was hilarious. The one big problem: the pool water was FREEZING in May. Not refreshing - properly cold. Tallulah screamed the second she touched it. The sea was actually warmer than the pool, which felt ridiculous. If you're going with a baby, go June or later. The beach is a 2-minute walk - pebble/shingle rather than sand. Sunloungers included. Lots of tree shade around the resort which matters when you can't put suncream on a 4-month-old. The rooms are spread out with steps in places. Bring a travel buggy, not a full-size pram. They provided a cot and highchair. Food was decent buffet - good variety for each meal. Bringing grandparents was a game-changer. We could take turns on the slides, have a quiet meal, and not feel like we were in survival mode. Highly recommend. We flew Jet2 from Bristol to Bodrum - about 4 hours, Tallulah slept the whole way. Transfer to Akbuk was about two hours by coach (longer than you'd expect). We'd probably try somewhere new next time, but there was nothing wrong with it - the hotel, food and entertainment were all great.
